I don’t know what happened, but I realized that I have forgotten to post anything about the Sean Hannity Freedom Concert that I went to.  Wow!  Was it awesome!  We first heard from Mark Levin, then Lt. Col. Oliver North.  After that, Sean Hannity spoke to us.  All were wonderful speakers and really got me charged up.  After the speakers, Lee Greenwood took the stage.  He was very good.  I hadn’t heard most of the songs before, but I still really enjoyed the music.  His vocal range is amazing, and the music was great.  And, of course the best song was God Bless the USA!

All in all, the night was full of patriotism and optimism and enlightenment.  I can’t wait until I can go to another one!

I was talking with a friend of mine the other day about how scary it is that two of the Presidential candidates clearly want to take this country in a socialist direction.  Socialism is a scary thing, and not something I’d ever like to experience.  As we were talking I remarked about how I thought Socialism can appear to be pretty good on paper.  No one suffering.  That’s appealing.  I don’t think anyone wants people to suffer and be poor and hungry.  However, when you add people into the equation, things go totally haywire.  See, on paper, socialism appears good.  It looks like something that could help people, and allow everyone to be happy.  Everyone gets an equal part.  In fact, it sounds a lot like the Law of Consecration.  But, in actuality, it’s quite different.  When I told this to my friend, she made the simple, yet profound statement that Socialism is Satan’s version of the Law of Consecration.  This is very true.  Satan can confuse and twist something good and wonderful and make it seem great while it is actually horrible.  The difference between the Socialism and the Law of Consecration is that with Socialism, it is the government taking from you, while the Law of Consecration is you giving willingly.  Satan’s plan was to take away our free agency.  That’s exactly what Socialism does.  You are not given a choice as to whether or not you will contribute, because it’s just taken.  Isn’t amazing how one little difference can cause such a huge change in the overall result.

No, I don’t think Hillary is out of it just yet, as many suggest.  Let us not forget that this was suppose to be her election.  She was entitled to the White House.  Remember all that?  Oh, but then Barack Hussein Obama came into the picture.  The Democrat party threw her overboard.  So, it has been an interesting primary for the Democrat party; full of lots of drama.  I think it’s one of the most entertaining things I’ve been witness to.  And, it’s only been helped along by Rush Limbaugh‘s Operation Chaos.  (I may as well enjoy their party, since I don’t like our party’s nominee.)  I’m with him, let them rip each other apart, because John McCain surely won’t do it, and somebody’s got to.  And I truly believe Hillary will fight all the way to the end on this, because in her mind, she is still entitled to this.

Anyway, one has to wonder what kind of chance Hillary had to begin with, even without the Obama factor.  I mean how many people wanted to reopen the Clinton chapters in American History?  So, I read this great article by Ann Coulter today about just this thing.  Check it out

New Chapter

A friend of mine recommended that a do a little post about a new blog I’ve started.  As we have begun a new chapter in our family life, I decided to chronicle it all.  I think it will be of great value to us later.  I suppose it’s like a journal, much like this blog is.  My father-in-law mentioned to be yesterday that I should print all this stuff out and put it in a binder.  He’s probably right.  For all practical purposes, these blogs really are my journal, at least for now.

Anyway, check out the new blog.
