No, I don’t think Hillary is out of it just yet, as many suggest.  Let us not forget that this was suppose to be her election.  She was entitled to the White House.  Remember all that?  Oh, but then Barack Hussein Obama came into the picture.  The Democrat party threw her overboard.  So, it has been an interesting primary for the Democrat party; full of lots of drama.  I think it’s one of the most entertaining things I’ve been witness to.  And, it’s only been helped along by Rush Limbaugh‘s Operation Chaos.  (I may as well enjoy their party, since I don’t like our party’s nominee.)  I’m with him, let them rip each other apart, because John McCain surely won’t do it, and somebody’s got to.  And I truly believe Hillary will fight all the way to the end on this, because in her mind, she is still entitled to this.

Anyway, one has to wonder what kind of chance Hillary had to begin with, even without the Obama factor.  I mean how many people wanted to reopen the Clinton chapters in American History?  So, I read this great article by Ann Coulter today about just this thing.  Check it out

I’m just sick! I’m disgusted with the state of the Republican party! How could a party that is suppose to be conservative, have someone so liberal as their front runner?! I just don’t see how these people that call themselves conservatives can vote for John McCain! THE MAN IS A LIBERAL! Make no mistake about it. JOHN MCCAIN IS A LIBERAL, A LIAR, AND A CON MAN, NO BETTER THAN CLINTON OR OBAMA!
I’m really fuming. What the heck is going on with the GOP? I just can’t believe people are falling for this stuff!
I’m just going to post a link to my friend Mike’s blog entry about tonight’s results in Florida.

Check out his entry and my comments on it. Pretty much sums it up. I’m sure I’ll have more to say on the subject, but I first need to calm down. UGGGGHHHHH!

Also, read this article by Mark Levin, The Real McCain Record.

So Hillary Clinton is bursting with ideas lately. She’s apparently solved the problems of health care, poverty, and retirement. Universal health care (ie: socialized medicine), a $5000 baby bond, and a $1000 a year 401 K for everyone in the country. Now, the question is: How will she pay for it? Answer, according to her: tax the rich and middle class (but mostly the rich). Her plans have so many, many flaws, but I’d just like to concentrate on one right now. She wants to tax the rich to pay for all of this, but it simply won’t work. There are two ways this can go. 1. The rich will “hide” their money through investments, and other means, so they won’t be subject to the ridiculous high taxes. So, they will still be rich, and the programs won’t get funded. When she sees that she’s not getting the income she wanted from the rich, she’s going to push the higher taxes on the middle class. Refer to #2 for the inevitable end to that scenario. 2. The rich will be taxed until they are poor. Hillary will see that the well has run dry, and the taxes will go to the middle class. They will be taxed until they are poor, also. Now, what will she do? She can’t tax the poor, those people are the “victims” the democrats say they are trying to help. Plus, now there will be even more poor (because of all the taxing), and the programs will need even more funding. What’s she going to do then? What’s her solution to that?
I pray I will NEVER have to find out!

All she is after is power, and socialized programs, like these, give it to her. Socialism is NOT for this country. It’s a terrible idea, on so many levels. But, if she gets elected, that’s what’s coming. Be prepared to loose everything you hold near and dear, ’cause in Hillary’s mind, it all belongs to her.

UGGGH! That’s all I can say!

Ok, well maybe not all I can say, but that’s sure how I feel. This week has been full of news that just disgusts me. Let’s start first with everyone’s favorite story of the week, Senator Larry Craig. He plead guilty to charges relating to sexual misconduct in a Minnesota airport public restroom. He now says the guilty plea was just to make it go away, which is entirely possible, but who knows. No one really knows what happened in that bathroom, except Craig and the police officer involved. Now, politicians are coming out of the woodwork, saying he should resign. I have to say that I agree. Those we elect to represent us should be held to a higher standard (I know, it sounds funny when talking about politicians). But, I really believe it’s true.
But, here’s what gets me about this whole thing: If this guy was a democrat, this would all be swept under the rug. But, because he’s a republican, he’s villainized. Yes, if what they are accusing him of is true, it’s wrong. However, I seem to recall a certain Democrat President getting caught with his pants down on more than one occasion. Now, I didn’t see Billy Boy resign. Yeah, he got impeached, but that really didn’t matter; he stayed in office. And let us not forget about William Jefferson, who was caught with $90,000 dirty money in his freezer. No one had him resign. Look, the fact of the matter is that politicians in both parties have been involved in some very scandalous behavior. However, the trend seems to be (of course with some exceptions) that the Democrats usually skate and the Republicans usually get chased out of office. (Maybe we just hold our party to a higher standard.)
The next story is that the Clinton camp has received several thousands of dollars in contributions from the family that is not very well off. The Paw family has donated around $200,000 to the Clinton camp. Surely they do not have that kind of money. Oddly enough these donations were timed just right with those from Norman Hsu, a big Hillary fundraiser. Turns out one of the Paws works for Hsu. Also turns out that Hsu is a fugitive in California. This is so shady, I don’t think even Bill can make the sun shine on it. I do find it interesting, however that this story broke just a couple days after the Craig story. Naturally the media have been focusing all their attention on Craig, and this huge story is being left by the wayside. Coincidence, perhaps, but unlikely. Afterall, as Rush likes to say, “With the Clinton’s, there are no coincidences.”
I do hope this is brought out into the light more, we shall see.

I was flipping through the channels earlier this evening, and stopped for a minute when I saw Hillary Clinton. Lara Spencer, from The Insider, had a one-on-one interview with her. I only caught the last 30 seconds or so, but that was all I needed. I mostly rolled my eyes. Then, I heard the funniest thing I’ve heard all day. Lara Spencer was describing Hillary, and said this about her, “So lovely, so unguarded…” Are you kidding me?! Hillary Clinton? Lovely? Unguarded? Come on!

Yes, it’s true, and I’m very excited about it! Now I’ve got to get my Romney in ’08 bumper sticker and yard sign! I love his background, and his positions on the issues. He’s my top choice for President. The challenge he’s facing, in my opinion, is that he’s not as well known nationally as Giuliani, but he’s much more of a conservative on the social issues. (If only we could get another Reagan!) My fear is that he doesn’t have what it’s going to take to defeat Hillary and the democrats. I think Giuliani does. I’m all about whatever it takes to keep Hillary out of the White House! (Why do people like her anyway? What has she done that makes her qualified for the position? Go ahead, ask a liberal, I bet they don’t really have an answer.) Anyhow, I’m excited about Romney!

Well, we’re off and running for 2008! Isn’t it exciting?! I know it may sound weird, but I love all this campaigning stuff. I’m a political junkie. I just find it all extremely fascinating, and very compelling. I get pretty passionate about it too.
Here’s how it’s looking. For the Dems, there’s Hillary and Obama. Sure others have said they are running, but these two have the main focus right now. Hillary was supposed to have had this race handed to her on a silver platter (at least in her mind). There have been years of build up to this moment. (Maybe all of Bill’s Presidency was just to pave the way for Hillary.) Then, all of a sudden, in a sneak attack, Obama comes out of virtually no where and takes it right out from under her. The Dems have a new love child. I just wonder how long the love affair will last. I picture in my head a boxing match between the two of them. (Personally, in a physical battle, I’d have to favor Hillary. She’s mean!) I can’t wait to see how this plays out! I have a feeling it will be fun to watch the two of them tear each other apart. It is going to be mean and vicious. Perhaps they will give us stuff to use against them in the general election.
Then, on the Republican side, there are a few possibilities. We’ve got the former mayor of NY, Giuliani. Personally, I’m not a big fan at all. He’s far too liberal for my liking! The thing he’s got going for him is his amazing reaction and handling of 9/11. There’s also my personal favorite, Mitt Romney. I would love to see him get the GOP nomination!

Also to look forward to in 2008 is that the House will be up for grabs again. We’ve got to get Nancy Pelosi out of there before the whole democracy falls apart! We’ve got to get conservatives back into power! Luckily, the Dems are already fighting among themselves. Guess the honeymoon didn’t last too long. They said they were going to get a lot done, but I’m still waiting for them to do something useful. I’m tired of my taxpayer money going to pay their salaries so that they can spend their time insulting the President and passing non-binding resolutions (which don’t mean anything). I’d really like to see them do something useful – after all, that’s what they claimed they would do!

Anyway, it is going to be interesting to see how this all plays out! I’ll definitely keep you posted!
